Comic and Graphic Novel Appreciation with Ryan Claytor

Are you unsure what all the “graphic novel” hype is about? Learn about the wide variety of genres being produced in comics today and become familiar with several aspects of comic-specific language in this lecture from university professor and comics artist, Ryan Claytor. Claytor began teaching the first “Comics and Visual Narrative” class in Michigan State University’s history. He has also served as the director of the Michigan State University Comics Forum, an event for scholars, creators and fans, since 2009.
